POVERTY & HOMELESSNESS

At the North Texas Community Foundation we partner with donors and our local nonprofit
community to support strategies that make a positive impact on breaking the cycle of poverty in North Texas.

INVESTING IN WHAT WORKS

  • Provide a coordinated set of services to help low-income individuals and families secure higher paying jobs, strengthen their finances and move up the economic ladder;
  • Explore non-traditional avenues to reach those who are economically vulnerable (e.g. new parents, community college students, ex-offenders, and senior citizens);
  • Consider two-generation approaches that pair early childhood programming with those delivering strong employment and family services to parents.
