The North Texas Community Foundation offers multiple opportunities for donors to make an impact on the region’s most pressing needs. You can invest in North Texas by giving to the Community Foundation. Donations are safe, secure and private. For giving opportunities, check out the information listed below.

Contributions to the Community Impact Fund allow us to respond to the most pressing needs and opportunities in this region.

The Early Learning Alliance, ELA, is a community collaboration of more than 50 individuals and organizations focused on early learning from ages 0-8. Together, it seeks to improve outcomes for all Fort Worth children by aligning the goals of early child care providers and K-12 systems.

Donations to this fund provide immediate financial assistance to Certified Texas Law Enforcement or Fire Protection Personnel who are injured or killed in the line of duty.

Your gift of $300 or more will help diversify the Community Foundation’s revenue base by adding another revenue source for operations and become a lasting resource for the Community Foundation to thrive. The last few years have been transformational – from the scope of our programming to the level of new donor cultivation that increases our potential impact and improves our community’s well-being.

Contributions to this program provide academically gifted and under-served Latino/a, African American and Native American high school students with advanced instruction in math, science, writing and college counseling over three consecutive summers.

Only 1 of every 3 third-graders in the 87,000-student Fort Worth ISD are reading on grade level, severely limiting their opportunities and the city’s future workforce. Read Fort Worth was established in 2016 as a privately-funded collective impact effort to align partners, strategies and resources so that 100% of third-graders will read on grade level by 2025. Modeled after successful initiatives across the U.S., Read Fort Worth exists to accelerate and scale up actions of practitioners and experts working to make sure that all children are ready for kindergarten and can succeed in school.

The Community Foundation’s ToolBox Grants program provides nonprofits with the resources they need to improve their strength and stability. It runs on a three-year cycle with each sequence addressing a designated area of need for the community. Current donations benefit early childhood education efforts.
