North Texas Community Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of James “Jim” Hille to its Board of Directors. With more than 30 years of experience in institutional asset management, Hille will volunteer his expertise to support the Foundation’s financial stewardship of more than $650 million in charitable assets on behalf of its donors.
“Jim’s extensive experience in endowment management and fiduciary oversight will be a tremendous asset to our board and, most importantly, to our donors,” said Rose Bradshaw, President & CEO of North Texas Community Foundation. “Our donors entrust us with their charitable assets, and we take that responsibility seriously. With Jim’s guidance, we’ll continue to strengthen our investment strategies and ensure that every contribution has the potential to grow and do more good.”
Mr. Hille’s career includes serving as Chief Investment Officer at Texas Christian University, where he oversaw the university’s multibillion-dollar endowment. Prior to that, he held the same role at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, the state’s largest public pension plan. His responsibilities have spanned asset allocation, risk management, manager selection, and performance optimization.
Mr. Hille serves on the investment advisory board of the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company. He recently served on the investment advisory committee for the Employees Retirement System of Texas and the board of the Fort Worth Employees Retirement Fund. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Beyond his professional achievements, Jim is a devoted family man who met his wife in high school. Together, they have raised three sons.
