North Texas Community Foundation announces that a total of $75,000 in general operating support has been awarded to six organizations through the 2025 Arts and Culture Fund. Established to uplift visual and performing arts, and historic preservation, the Fund focuses on increasing access and community engagement in the arts throughout Fort Worth and Arlington.
This year’s grant recipients are:
>Friends of the Levitt Pavilion Arlington
>Kinfolk House
>SiNaCa Studios
>Tarrant County Black Historical & Genealogical Society
>Theatre Arlington
>Timeless Concerts
“The arts have the power to connect people, celebrate culture, and spark dialogue,” said Whitnee Boyd, Ed.D., director of community impact at North Texas Community Foundation. “By investing in these organizations, we’re helping ensure that creative opportunities are accessible to all.”
The Arts and Culture Fund is made possible by the generous contributions of NTCF fundholders who share a commitment to the arts: ABBA Homan Charitable Fund, Susi and Mike Bickley Charitable Fund, the Bob and Betty Crow Fund, and the Donny Wiley Memorial Fund. Funding decisions were made by a grants committee, which carefully evaluated each application to ensure the most impactful use of the funds.
“Our mission is made possible by the investment of our community, especially our funding partners,” said Letatia Teykl executive director at Levitt Pavilion Arlington, “Support from the Arts and Culture Fund means that artists will be paid, community events will take place in the heart of our city, and people of all backgrounds will have access to free live music.”
