Since 1981, North Texas Community Foundation has helped individuals and families support the community they love through charitable giving. Over the past four decades, many donors have made arrangements for the Foundation to support their favorite causes and charities through planned gifts. To recognize their vision, we are pleased to formally announce the Legacy Society.

The Legacy Society honors the generous donors who have entrusted the Community Foundation to carry out their charitable intentions beyond their lifetime. These donors have chosen to leave a lasting legacy by including NTCF in their will, trust or estate plan, or by creating an endowed fund. Together, these forward-thinking individuals have entrusted the Foundation to steward more than $500 million in planned gifts to support their favorite local nonprofits, schools and churches.

“The notion that generous supporters of the Community Foundation have entrusted us to fulfill their intentions beyond their lifetime is so moving. We are honored to help our donors leave a lasting legacy,” said Margaret Kramer, director of donor engagement at North Texas Community Foundation.
