North Texas Community Foundation is pleased to announce the grant recipients of the Arts Fund, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to supporting and enriching the arts community in Fort Worth. Through the Arts Fund, a total of $73,000 has been awarded to three organizations that contribute to the cultural landscape of our city by uplifting emerging artists.

The grant recipients for this cycle are:

Arts Fort Worth: for the Emerging Artist Residency program that provides one local artist with free studio space at Arts Fort Worth for one year.

Gallery of Dreams: for the Artist-in-Residency program that lends a large workspace to a local artist within the gallery at Fort Works Art, followed by a solo exhibition.

Kinfolk House: to support exhibitions and programs at Kinfolk House.

“We are thrilled to support these outstanding organizations that contribute so much to the cultural fabric of Fort Worth,” said Rose Bradshaw, president & CEO of North Texas Community Foundation. “The Arts Fund is a testament to the power of philanthropy in creating a more vibrant community. Through these grants, we aim to empower arts organizations to continue their valuable work, supporting local artists and encouraging creative expression.”

“This investment from one of the leading foundations in our community reaffirms our dedication to providing a platform for artistic exploration and further community connection,” observed Lauren Saba, president of Gallery of Dreams. “Having their support will allow us to gain more momentum and garner additional support from the community. It has been an amazing validation for what we have done to get to this point.”

Funding for the grant cycle was generously provided by the Susi and Mike Bickley Charitable Fund, the Bob and Betty Crow Family Fund, Mr. Gary and Mrs. Judy L. Havener, and the Donny Wiley Memorial Fund. The grant recipients were selected by a grants committee, and each project demonstrates a commitment to fostering a dynamic and thriving arts ecosystem that enhances the quality of life for all residents.
