2026 ToolBox grantee One Safe Place, in collaboration with The Net FW and Unbound Now, has hosted a series of trainings designed to equip Tarrant County nonprofits with tools to strengthen leadership and talent development. This collaborative effort is one of several initiatives funded through NTCF’s 2026 ToolBox grant cycle.
Created to address gaps in leadership and workforce development, the training series supports professionals serving survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Through workshops focused on collective impact, philanthropic fundraising, crisis communication, collaborative culture and resilient leadership, participants gain practical strategies to strengthen their organizations and better serve their clients.
As the lead organization, One Safe Place coordinates training logistics, participant recruitment, data collection and reporting. The Net FW and Unbound Now contribute expertise in survivor advocacy and human trafficking response.
To date, approximately 30 organizations have participated in the training series. While the project centers on strengthening nonprofit organizations, the ultimate beneficiaries are the families and survivors they serve. By building organizational capacity, participating agencies are better positioned to provide critical services and respond to evolving needs. Together, they are creating a stronger support system for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking across Tarrant County.
