Where Education Meets Opportunity

Investing in Career Training Across Arlington ISD

For the past four decades, Dan and Linda Dipert have invested their resources in the Arlington community they call home. Though both are transplants to DFW—Linda from California and Dan from Arkansas—their long-standing commitment to Arlington reflects a genuine dedication to the community that has shaped their lives.

As fundholders at North Texas Community Foundation, Dan and Linda use philanthropy to support the causes they care about most, with education at the center of their giving. They are longtime supporters of both the University of Texas at Arlington and the Arlington ISD Foundation, aligning their resources with initiatives that strengthen learning pathways and expand access for students across the city.

Their community impact has been solidified with the Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center, a state-of-the-art facility serving students from all six Arlington ISD high schools. The center serves approximately 4,800 students every two days and offers a wide range of career and technical programs that prepare students for both higher education and the workforce.

Looking to the future, the Career and Technical Center is expanding to meet growing demand. Scheduled to be completed in September 2026, the newly renovated center will help ensure even more Arlington students have access to the training, resources, and opportunities needed to build successful futures.

“Talent is equal, opportunity is not. This center ensures every student has equal access to a clear path to success.” – Dan Dipert
