A New Chapter for Vicki Andrews

Vicki Andrews, our longest-serving team member, has decided to retire on August 30, 2023. She has given North Texas Community Foundation and our fundholders 13 years of outstanding leadership, dedicated service and thoughtful stewardship, and we are all the better for it!

Thanks to Vicki’s leadership, NTCF streamlined our operations and achieved National Standards accreditation for implementing best practices in philanthropy. The processes and procedures she developed for delivering high-quality services to our growing portfolio of donors earned recognition from the Center for Effective Philanthropy, which ranked NTCF in the top 98th percent among Community Foundations across the country for donor satisfaction. Not once, but twice!

When Vicki joined the foundation in 2010, NTCF served just over 100 fundholders, held $138 million in assets and made grants totaling $8.5. During her tenure, we grew to serve nearly 300 donors and granted out more than $250 million in grants to our community. As anyone who knows Vicki will attest, her care for our fundholders and concern for our community know no bounds.

For her next Great Act, Vicki looks forward to serving on the Board of Directors for Parker County’s Center of Hope, painting beautiful Texas landscapes, herding donkeys, traveling with her husband and caring for her family. While we will miss having her on our team at NTCF, one thing’s for sure: she’ll continue to leave every person and place better than she found them.

Please join us in wishing Vicki well and thanking her for her dedicated service to our Foundation and community.
